Founded in 2008 in Vila do Conde, Evols is a band influenced by all the psychedelic music that has been reinventing itself for almost 60 years in which guitars are God and its cult, a religion. With a rhythm section of unlimited powers and now with space keyboards, Evols easily convulse, pushing the sonic potential of their arsenal to the limit.

The band has released three albums (2010, 2015 and 2020) as well as a long list of gigs, including the Festival NOS Primavera Sound in Porto, Serralves em Festa, Casa da Música and the Festival Milhões de Festa.

They’ve shared the stage with bands such as Sonic Boom, The Dodos (on a tour of Spain), Abe Vigoda, Glockenwise and Sensible Soccers. In the visuals, they collaborated with Pedro Maia, Hugo Amaral and set to music films by Robert Todd at the Vila do Conde Curtas Festival.

The Evols’ formation in 2020 is composed by Vitor Santos, França Gomes, Carlos Lobo, Rafael Ferreira, André Simão and Sérgio de Bastos.
