Mounqup
Alternative

Camille Hedouin is a French musician and video creator established for a decade in Galicia, who composes all her work under the name of Mounqup. She is also a cultural facilitator and promoter of the Saumede recovery project in A Bola (Ourense) through the El Pueblo association of which she is president. Abandoned years ago, Camille works to turn it into a cultural village where rural tourism, gastronomy, and heritage converge.

The result of introspection of the artist during the pandemic and of enormous personal changes during this time, the uncertainty of the moment and the feeling of fragility about her own life, realizing the distance that separates her from her family in France, she begins to wonder why she still is in Galicia. IN response, 'Akelarre' is born, her new artistic project, which not only is an album, but also her first large-format show where all those emotions culminate, the search for vital legitimation and the need to understand her roots to the Galician nature.
